Cara + Ben - Incredible Nicollet Island Wedding
Cara and Ben chose a beautiful fall day to get married on, and I had the privilege of capturing it for them! This was my first time getting to film at Our Lady of Victory chapel at St. Catherine University and holy smokes, that place is gorgeous! Nicollet Island Pavilion was great to get back to as well. Among Cara and Ben’s guests were a couple familiar faces to Olsen Media, which is always awesome to see! It was wonderful to be a part of your day, and congratulations to you both from Olsen Media!

What a perfect day I got to spend with Molly and Charlie! Alex + Ian - Classy Mansion Wedding at The Van Dusen Mansion
Mixing classy with historical character is an all-time great recipe for a gorgeous wedding. Of course Alex and Ian were the best couple on top of it all and were all smiles and laughs all day. It was a party for the ages as well and they topped it off with a private dance under the cafe lights, pure perfection. I had such a great time, thanks for having me there to capture it all!

I was really glad when Maria and Taylor reached out, not only because they were just really nice to chat with, but also I hadn’t been to Assumption for several years (and it’s amazing) and I hadn’t been to The St. Paul Hotel yet and it was awesome! I was very excited to film for Anna and Peter ever since they booked! This was my first Eastern Orthodox wedding as well as my first time at Mosaic, and I think it couldn’t have been better. It definitely rains on wedding days but almost every time, it turns out to be a gorgeous sunny day. Such was the case on this day and what a day it turned out to be! It's always the best ones that have all the best friends. A real friend tricks you into doing a fake first look when you thought you weren't doing one haha!!! I had to do a bit of acting to help that one get setup. When it came time for the serious matters it was clear that the humor doesn't take away from the impact of the real moments throughout the day. So much to love about this wedding!! First of all, a rehearsal dinner on a boat is just perfect, being on the lakes up north is the best, this couple were so much fun, releasing butterflies?! The Brainerd lakes area is a paradise for Minnesotans which makes it the perfect backdrop for the perfect wedding. No detail was spared for this wedding and on top of that it was probably the most fun party I've ever seen. These guys really know how to send it! Sometimes the day just ends up being beautiful despite all odds. When I first arrived at the house, I had to sprint in to avoid being completely drenched and the day looked gloomy. It had been a few years since I’ve been able to film at Interlachen, so it was great to be back and Emily and Christian made it even better!
